CFLs New Darling: An Office Blessing

CFL's NEW DARLING: AN OFFICE BLESSING

CFL has a new darling: our current office consisting of two commercial units at Darling Heights Condominium, Capitol Hills, Old Balara, Quezon City beside Celebrity Sports Plaza.

Last May 18, 2024, Saturday, marked the blessing of our new CFL Office.

In attendance were members of the CFL Board of Trustees (Bro. Chito Liban, Bro. Alfee Pontejos, Bro. Pancho Lopez-Tan, Bro. Dong Gallevo, Sis. Ruby Borja, Bro. Enric Estrada, Bro. Tetet Pineda and wife Gem, and Bro. Jun Villar), CFL Governance Council (Sis. Marie Villar, Bro. Rod Legaspi, and Sis. Mariles Borja), and other leaders (Chapter Leaders Bro. Paul & Sis. Rose Gonzales, National Youth Head Bro. Jay Sibug), CFL Office Manager Sis. Eloise Pascual and staff.

The guests of honor representing Engr. Andrea Tamayo Ulep, owner of the units, were her parents, Bro. Danny and Sis. Cynthia Tamayo.

The new office was earlier graciously offered for a nominal fee by Bro. Danny during one of the leaders assemblies, after getting the permission of their daughter.

In coordination with the Homeowners Association Admin head Ms. Elisa Aguilar , the renovations and improvements of the new office went smoothly with Bro. Joel dela Cruz at the helm with his crew, some workers of Bro. Danny, and the CFL Office staff.

The office blessing began with prayers led by Rev. Fr. Joseph Buslon, parish priest of Nuestra Se├▒ora dela Paz y Buenviaje. This was followed by the ribbon cutting by Sis. Cynthia and Bro. Alfee. Fr. Joseph then blessed both units of the office. Bro. Alfee gave the history of how we came about renting the new office. Sis. Ruby shared about the inspiration for the office design. Bro. Danny offered a personal sharing, too.

A plaque of appreciation and small tokens were then presented to the Tamayo family for their generous and unwavering support to CFL.

Bro. Pancho led the prayer before meals. A simple but sumptuous lunch catered by Sis. Fe Veran was shared by the group.

Bro. Chito gave his reflection about this providential move to the beautiful residential area of Darling Heights which could be an opportunity to do greater evangelization in the area.
