CONGRATULATIONS TO THE
NEW CFL HEARTSTEAD BATCH 5 SCHOLARS SYs 2024-2028!!!
The
CFL Life Ministry-Heartstead Scholarship Program, through its implementing arm CFL Heartstead Scholarship Committee (CHESCo), is happy to announce the newest batch of scholars for the school years 2024-2028. These young individuals have worked hard to
achieve this milestone, as we are proud to support their academic
journeys. This scholarship goes beyond
financial aid. It aims to nurture both
the intellectual and spiritual growth of the scholars as they continue their
education.
THE SELECTION
PROCESS: FINDING THE BEST
The
scholarship program began its search for Batch 5 scholars earlier this year,
targeting members from the CFL community who come from less privileged
backgrounds but have demonstrated a
commitment to academic success and community service. Applicants are required to meet a stringent
criterion: no final grade below 80% in
any subject, and an endorsement from their respective CFL leaders within their clusters or
ministries.
From
the 21 applicants, the CHESCo Committee carefully reviewed each one,
considering not only their academic records but also their commitment to the
values of the CFL community. Only 13
candidates were chosen to move forward and take the qualifying written
examination, which was held on September 1, 2024. After this test, seven applicants stood out
and were invited to participate in virtual interviews on September 27. These interviews further evaluated their
character, academic potential, and desire to be part of the CFL Heartstead
program.

development of the scholars. As members
of the CFL community, scholars are encouraged to actively participate in
community activities, helping to serve others and grow in their faith. The scholarship promotes the belief that
Ããserving the community together is serving GodÃÃÃÃÃà This means that the scholars, along with
their families, are invited to engage in the spiritual life of the community,
gaining both academic and spiritual wisdom.
